Job – Senior Respiratory and Oncology Physiotherapist
Location - The London Bridge Hospital, London
Contract Type - Permanent, full time hours 37.5hrs
Salary - Competitive (dependent on skills & experience). This position is equivalent to a Band 7 NHS.
Other Info - We will be able to sponsor VISA's for those within the EU and outside the EU.
The Senior Respiratory and Oncology Physiotherapist will be responsible for a full clinical inpatient caseload, whilst also supporting the Clinical Lead Oncology Physiotherapist and Inpatient Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy Lead with service development initiatives.

Duties and responsibilities
To be responsible for a majority medical and post op Oncology clinical caseload, providing high quality Physiotherapy care to patients across the London Bridge Hospital campus.
To be able to provide clinical support across all specialities, including Intensive care, general surgery, orthopaedics and cardiorespiratory.
Use expert clinical reasoning to provide specialist intervention, support and advice to patients, ensuring best practice is applied at all times.
To provide comprehensive initial and ongoing assessments for each patient.
To plan and implement treatment using a goal planning system.
To work to the highest standards to facilitate evidence-based patient care, playing a key role in implementing, facilitating and developing physiotherapy best practice in line with local and national guidelines.
To maintain accurate, up-to-date and concise treatment records detailing the individual patient’s treatment plan and progress.
To be responsible for the safe and timely discharge of patients and to be able to communicate this effectively to other healthcare professionals and refer onwards as appropriate to community teams.
Skills and experience
Appropriate training at MSc level or equivalent experiential development
Be HCPC Registered
CSP Member (Desirable)
Highly specialist experience in Oncology physiotherapy
Experience working within in-patient settings within an acute hospital
Experience working across other disciplines within physiotherapy e.g rotations
