Job – Senior Specialist Orthopaedic Physiotherapist
Location - The London Bridge Hospital, London
Contract Type - Permanent, full time hours 37.5hrs
Salary - Competitive (dependent on skills & experience). This position is equivalent to a Band 7 NHS.
Other Info - We will be able to sponsor VISA's for those within the EU and outside the EU.
The Senior Specialist Orthopaedic Physiotherapist will be responsible for a full clinical caseload, whilst supporting the Clinical Lead Inpatient Physiotherapist and Inpatient Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy Lead with service development initiatives.

Duties and responsibilities
To be responsible for a majority Orthopaedic and Trauma clinical caseload, both inpatients and day cases, providing high quality Physiotherapy care to patients across the London Bridge Hospital campus.
To be able to provide clinical support across other areas of the hospital, including Intensive care, general surgery, cardiorespiratory and oncology.
Use expert clinical reasoning to provide specialist intervention, support and advice to patients, ensuring best practice is applied at all times.
To provide comprehensive initial and ongoing assessments for each patient.
To maintain accurate, up-to-date and concise treatment records detailing the individual patient’s treatment plan and progress.
To ensure that physiotherapy sessions are commenced on time and patients are charged appropriately for their treatment.
Skills and experience
Appropriate training at MSc level or equivalent experiential development
Be HCPC Registered
CSP Member (Desirable)
Highly specialist experience in Orthopaedic, Trauma & Neurosurgical physiotherapy
Experience working within in-patient settings within an acute hospital
Experience working across other disciplines within physiotherapy e.g rotations
