This role will support employee relations at the Wellington Hospital, based in St Johns Wood in North London.
Reporting into the Chief HR Officer (CHRO), the Employee Relations Manager, will be a trusted advisor, supporting colleagues and stakeholders across the Wellington Hospital. An excellent coach, you’ll use your employee relations and HR expertise to deliver high quality, proactive case management and support . Examples include; capability, disciplinary, grievances, absence management, ACAS conciliations, tribunal claims, appeals and flexible working requests.
Duties and responsibilities
Providing sound and professional advice and guidance to line managers for employee relations cases.
Coaching and supporting managers with people matters, you’ll be readily available when you’re needed providing first line support
Having end to end ownership and management of capability, disciplinary and grievance issues
Attending capability, disciplinary, grievances, absence management hearings and tribunals as required, including preparation and support with all written correspondence
Producing monthly ER dashboards detailing trends and analysing those trends with HRBPs and CHRO
Coach and support managers in specific training needs around people management.
Skills and experience
Expert knowledge of HR and employee relations
Experience implementing diverse and high impact HR initiatives to support HCA objectives.
Strong experience of working in partnership with leaders and colleagues to drive results.
