Location – Oxford Circus with remote working.

Contract Type - Permanent, full time, 37.5 hours per week.

Salary - £30,000 - £34,000 + benefits (pension, health cover, flexible benefits and excellent career development)

About the Role

The HR Shared Service Advisor will assist the HR Shared Service Manager and Head of HR Operations in streamlining and managing the HRSS Team. You will be working closely with local HR to ensure the HRSS is supporting them adequately. You will be required to provide a HR advisory service and support the group with contracts amendments, job changes and employment law practices. As a HRSS Advisor you will required to support on the HR systems and represent the HRSS with internal stakeholders such as CHRO’s, local HR, Resourcing Advisors and Line Managers through regular meetings and quarterly presentations of developments and improvements being made to the team.

The role will also require you to ensure the HRSS Team comply with all legislative and regulatory requirements when supporting employees and managers throughout their lifecycle with HCA.

Key Skills & Experience:

  • Graduate level education
  • Fully CIPD qualified (level 5 minimum)
  • Knowledge of relevant HR policies and procedures
  • Solid experience in Human Resources providing complex HR advice in a multi-disciplinary organisation in either the public or private sector. 
  • Experience of TUPE and redundancy is required.
  • Case management experience of sickness absence, disciplinary and grievance is essential including experience of hearing grievance and disciplinary cases is essential
  • Communication and/or interaction are a key feature of the role, with a requirement to regularly deal with demanding and difficult situations with resilience.
  • Experienced in negotiating and successfully driving forward projects and executing change
