Job - Senior Specialist Oncology Occupational Therapist
Location - Harley Street Clinic
Contract Type - Permanent, full time hours 37.5hrs a week
Salary Range - Competitive dependent upon skills and experience). This is equivalent to a band 7 NHS position.

Job Description
Working alongside an Occupational Therapy colleague, you will effectively manage a caseload of surgical and oncology inpatients. The team will also provide support to help develop comprehensive patient centred treatment plans and interventions.
The role will be based at The Harley Street Clinic working within a busy therapy multidisciplinary team. You will report into the Lead Physiotherapist and be managed within the Therapies and Supportive services department.

Job Responsibilities
To provide assessment and treatment of Oncology and surgery inpatients
Use evidence based assessments and therapy interventions to support patient recovery and discharge
Contribute to Oncology multidisciplinary team meetings and care planning, sharing specialist knowledge and skills with peers and colleagues
Maintain high professional standards and lead on service development
Contribute to clinical audit
Essential Skills and Experience
Health and Care Professionals (HCPC) registration
Degree qualified in Occupational Therapy
Experience of working in an Oncology setting
Evidence of CPD and up-to-date practise
