About the Role

The Network Team Lead is a technical leader within the ITG Infrastructure team responsible for the operation and development of the HCA network infrastructure, including but not limited to routing & switching, wireless, firewall, traffic management, MPLS, Cisco ACI, VPN's, VRF's, QoS/CoS, BGP, OSPF, HSRP, GLBP, VRRP, WiFi6, IPS/IDS and SDN/SDDC services.

The Network Team Lead is a technical escalation point and who manages the day to day operations of a team of Network Engineers providing network maintenance and 3rd line support services. They define, and drive adherence to, procedures and best practices for both the support service and the development of the network infrastructure and be comfortable rolling up their sleeves and being hands on when necessary.

This role will be best suited a technical expert with a strong background in network support, design and project delivery and who has ideally held a team lead or acting team lead role.

About you:

  • Experience as a Senior Technical Engineer
  • Previous Team Leader experience desirable with a focus on developing and mentoring a fantastic team
  • Experience working within an ITIL Environment
  • Extensive hands-on experience with Cisco solutions (Routers, Switches, Firewalls & Wireless Access Points)
  • Strong understanding of Azure networking solutions and principles i.e. (Azure ALB, NSG's
  • Ability to create and clearly present service reports, RCA reports, Low-Level Designs and service improvement documentation
  • Experience leading project delivery and service improvement initiatives
  • Excellent customer service skills
