Job - Senior Occupational Therapist

Location - All HCA Healthcare UK hospital sites located in London

Contract Type - Permanent (full-time & part-time roles available)

Salary Range -Competitive dependent upon skills and experience. We have roles equivalent to a NHS band 6 & band 7 level.

Job Description

We are looking for Occupational Therapists to effectively manage a caseload of patients across the following specialities, covering general surgery, medical, orthopaedic, ITU, Neuro and oncology specialities.

There are a range of permanent full time vacancies available across all our facilities which are typically working full-time or part-time hours with participation in the on-call rota. The salary being offered will be attractive and competitive dependent on skills & experience.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Plan and implement treatment using a patient centred, goal orientated approach within the MDT

  • Responsible for the operational and clinical management of the Occupational Therapy service at the hospitals mentioned above.

  • Anticipate, assess and respond effectively to the needs of the diverse customers both internally and externally making excellent customer service a first priority

  • Assist in implementing and supporting quality initiatives and quality assurance methods, including collation of statistics and participation in research.

Skills & Experience

  • HCPC registered

  • Graduate Diploma or BSc in Occupational Therapy

  • Significant post qualification experience, including recent work in acute settings, general surgery, medical, orthopaedic, ITU, Neuro and oncology specialities.

  • Evidence of continuing professional/personal development
