Job Description
As a Health Screener at HCA Healthcare UK you will have a variety of patients with a vast range of individual needs.

Employee health screening forms an integral part of a corporate "wellness" strategy and health benefit programme for many employers. Our team of Health Screeners provide a comprehensive range of health screening including state of the art tests

You will be part of a medical team able to offer a range of Health Screening packages

Classic screen;
Designed to address the main health risks for the working population and are focussed on prevention and positive health.

To our unique Advanced Assure screens;
Which covers a full medical examination, Physiological assessment, Body chemistry assessment, Vitamin D assessment, Cardiac and diabetes risk assessment, SIAscopy® skin survey, Cardiac health assessment - resting and exercise ECG, Fitness assessment, Osteoporosis assessment, Bowel cancer assessment, Change and resilience package - 3D morphometric body scan, consultation with a dietician and consultation with a behavioural therapist and request specific tests and assessments for men and women.

This is a full time role Mon-Fri, 40 hours per week.

Duties & Responsibilities

- Provide health screening services and GP consultations to clients
- Review medical questionnaires prior to assessments
- Health screening and health promotion medicals (including history, medical examination, well woman checks, allocated tests and venesection)
- Provide appropriate onward referrals as appropriate
- Provide patient advice, follow ups and, where required, private prescription service
- Advise patients on cost of prescriptions/dispensed medication if required • Ensure care in line with corporate client benefits, e.g. PMI
- Ensure patient records and dates are maintained and updated accurately
Skills and Experience

- Primary Medical Degree
- Full registration with the UK GMC
- MRCGP (or equivalent) or named on the GP register (highly advantageous, but not essential)
- Previous experience pf Health Screening
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Good working knowledge of IT
